Easy Smoked Pork Loin

Barbecue smoked pork loin prepared in an easy brine and dry rub. Perfect as a BBQ dinner for all seasons.

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs pork loin
  • 3 tbsp rub of choice
  • ¼ cup BBQ sauce

Instructions

  • Heat up your smoker to 225°F with your choice of wood. Personally, I recommend maple.
  • While the smoker heats up, trim the fat on your pork.
  • Apply your chosen rub liberally across the loin.
  • Once your smoker has reached 225°F, place the meat in the smoker.
  • Smoke for 2.5-3 hours, or until the meat reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
  • With about 30 minutes left, apply BBQ sauce to the meat.
  • Finish smoking, remove from smoker and leave to cool for 15-20 minutes before slicing and serving.
