Low Carb Chili Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb ground beef
  • 2 chopped tomatoes
  • 3 cups chopped onions
  • 8 oz tomato paste
  • 3 chopped celery sticks
  • 2 chopped red bell peppers
  • 2 tspn chili powder
  • 1.5 tspn ground cumin
  • 1.5 tspn kosher salt
  • 0.5 tspn ground black pepper
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  • Heat up a medium/large frying pan then add beef
  • Brown the beef. When almost finished drain off fat and sprinkle ½ teaspoon salt over meat
  • Add bell pepper and onions to meat, cook for additional 2 minutes
  • Combine cooked meat, peppers, onions, celery, tomatoes, tomato paste, and water in medium-large pot
  • Stir in spices
  • Bring to boil, then reduce heat to low-medium and let simmer for 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes or so
