Ingredients

  • 1 lb green beans cleaned and trimmed
  • 2 tbsp canola oil or any neutral cooking oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tsp kosher salt
  • ½ tsp cracked black pepper

Instructions

  • Fire up your grill to medium-high heat, about 375-450°F (190-230°C)
  • Lightly oil a cast iron griddle. Set the griddle on the grill to warm up.
  • Place green beans in a large bowl and toss to combine with oil, salt, pepper, and crushed garlic
  • Add green beans to the griddle and grill for about 10 minutes, turning the beans with tongs every 2-3 minutes. The green beans are done when they are slightly charred and tender but not mushy.
